British Open – the tournament that becomes better and better each year. Highest level fighters, great fights, good organization (I guess if British federation keeps going on so well each year, the arena will have to be changed to much bigger one πŸ™‚ ), I believe that this event is enjoyed by the audience and all guest countries every single year.

Oh yes, this time some fighters had “some fun” when they had to run fast out of the arena in the middle of the fight because of the emergency. Yes, we all were evacuated for half an hour. But things happen πŸ™‚ And this had no negative influence for the tournament at all.

What was great about 41st British open? Yes, some world level fighters for sure. We had not only strong finals, but semi finals and selective fights too. Some surprises and unexpected losses as well. What I want to mention is -60 kg girls. 3 fighters in this category were really worth having that one first place. Emma Markwell, Anna Efremova and Teona Gazdeliani looked great. I am sure someone writes detailed analyses about men fights πŸ™‚

We had huge Lithuanian team this time. But I want to mention Vytautas Cepla (-80 kg champion) who was just great this time. I love when Vytas shows his character and great techniques πŸ™‚ Few videos below πŸ™‚
