Lithuanian kyokushin karate federation Awards 2016. I have already mentioned that we had too big event on Saturday for one post πŸ™‚ And too many beautiful ladies and handsome men, so you must even look at all photos. Gallery with many pictures from ceremony is at the end of the post πŸ™‚

But.. I must mention some more awards that were given to our team members. Every year we do have some different nominations. Not only very serious and official. Some funny ones, some that are understood just by the team members πŸ™‚

Firstly, we nominated the one who helps federation in the field of IT. The one who programmed the system that helps coordinate all action during competitions. Nikita Svesnikov is our Startup of the Year πŸ™‚

Spirit of the team. Yeah, this is so important everywhere. To have the one who makes the jokes, who gathers everyone, who is a friend of everybody. The guy who has charisma for this – Antanas Klibavicius!

The (un)success of the Year? Whatever we call this, our lightweight psychologist Jonas Eimontas had a strange draw in European championship in Sofia. First opponent – Valeri Dimitrov. But first round was easier for Jonas than we expected πŸ™‚

The interview of the year – Rita Pivoriunaite. However, I must say big Thank you for those who invited me to swim with dolphins πŸ™‚ All those interviews were more about “Dolphins and Stars” πŸ™‚

Young fighters were awarded too – U-18 and U-22 European champions, Justina Sisaite got the award for the Debut of the Year. Jevgenij Jurut got his 3rd Dan diploma and belt. What is more, this time we had 2 additional awards, let’s call them “Double” and “Triple” of the Year πŸ™‚

Not so often happens that the champion proves his title and repeats his victory two years in a row. Valdemaras Gudauskas got special award for becoming European champion in 2015 and 2016. Let’s make the same result in 2017! πŸ™‚

However, we have a girl who does incredible things. Yes, she did the “triple”. But honestly, she did a double “triple” πŸ™‚ How is it possible? She became European champion in 2014, 2015 and 2016. That’s not all. She became 3 times European champion in 2016! Tbilisi, Belgrad and Sofia were 3 cities where she won her gold medals in European championship in 2016. Unbelievable? Oh yes, it is! πŸ™‚

Ok, and let’s remember once more our best fighters – Eventas Guzauskas and Inga Mikstaite!
